MacOS High Sierra (version 10.13) is the fourteenth major release of, Apple Inc.' S desktop and server operating system for Macintosh computers. The successor to, it was announced at WWDC 2017 on June 5, 2017. The name 'High Sierra' refers to the High Sierra region in California.
Sep 27, 2017 Once you have created the USB boot installer drive for macOS High Sierra, you can either launch it immediately to install macOS High Sierra on the current Mac, reboot and startup from the USB installer drive, or eject it and use it on another Mac. As of 10/6/2017, the latest release of Valgrind (3.13.0) doesn't support MacOS 10.13 High Sierra yet, so we have to build from source on our own. Even if you use a older version of Mac, I recommend you to follow the same process. Prerequisite: Xcode command line tools, you should already have it if you follow step 1 and 2 of Eclipse setup guide.
As with Snow Leopard, and, the name also alludes to its status as a refinement of its predecessor, focused on performance improvements and technical updates rather than user features. Among the apps with notable changes are Photos and Safari.
